The Needlecrafts Club welcomes everyone from beginners to the more experienced. The Club meets once a month, usually on Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Clubhouse.
Many beautiful and creative pieces have been shared with the group. They can only be described as works of art and possible heirlooms which can be passed from one generation to the next.
The Club also encourages beginners. The beginners will be helped and instructed with their projects by our more experienced and gifted members.
All fully vaccinated residents of MPA are invited and welcome to attend. Why not drop in for some craft work and friendly conversation with your Mill Pond neighbors?
Required equipment: Whatever you need for your needlecraft projects.

Description
During the pandemic several residents realized that many of us were doing a lot of walking in and near MPA, so we organized the 5-Milers Club to do monthly, organized walks of about 5 miles near our community.
The leadership for walks rotates among the regular walkers. Leaders announce the day and time and the route (with an accompanying strip map, turn by turn directions, and its distance) of the walk by email. Walks are usually on Saturdays, and they usually begin at 11:00 am on the announced day in the MPA Clubhouse parking lot, and end at the same place. During warmer weather, the walks may begin earlier. If the weather forecast is for unpleasant weather, we reschedule to a different date or time. If walkers want to cut the walk short, they are welcome to circle back at any time, but it is best to tell others that they are leaving the walk.
Want to join us? Contact Richard or Jackie, below, to add your name to our email list. The 5-Milers Club welcomes all fully vaccinated MPA residents and their invited friends and families who enjoy walking for fun, exercise, camaraderie and to explore our nearby communities.
Required equipment: Comfortable walking shoes
