Exercise Classes

 

Description

This class will meet for forty-five minutes once a week on Wednesdays. We will adapt fun aerobic dance movements to increase our stamina. Learning new dance steps will also exercise our brains! We will also use one set of optional weights to build a stronger and fitter body. The class will end with calming stretches to relieve and relax our bodies.

Come and join this fun and energetic class that will help boost our mood and keep our muscles strong!

The class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests.

Required equipment: Supportive sneakers and one set of optional hand weights. You will get details when you attend the class.

Description

In this class, we will work on functional strength, muscle endurance, and core stability using light weights, bands, balls, and more. We will touch all the muscle groups, incorporating an active warm-up, chair and standing work, stretching, and strengthening to promote flexible joints, stronger muscles, and healthier backs. The class also includes balance work, flexibility training, and upper and lower body strength work. Be prepared for the challenge!

Required equipment: weights, band, and ball. You will get details when you attend the class.

Zoom class – Monday and Friday from 8:00 to 8:45 am

$10 fee per class 

Description

Come and join us for Water Aerobics every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 am. Our class offers multiple benefits for all types of people at any fitness level. The class focuses on cardiovascular, Zumba, strength building, and balancing skills. The best part is that you don’t even need to know how to swim! 

Required equipment: a bathing suit and water weights. Before buying the water weights, please come to a trial class to see if you like it first. 

The class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents, and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests…the more the merrier.

This class will consist of basic yoga poses with emphasis on breathing and stretching. Bring a yoga mat and any

props, such as yoga blocks and a strap used for stretching. Wear comfortable clothes!

The class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents, and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests.
