Description

This class will meet for one hour twice a week. We will use dance moves and optional hand held weights to challenge the cardiovascular and skeletal systems of the body. A good supportive sneaker is required and hand weights are optional.

The class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents, and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests.

Required equipment: supportive sneakers and optional hand weights. You will get details when you attend the class.

Description

In this class, we will work on functional strength, muscle endurance, and core stability using light weights, bands, balls, and more. We will touch all the muscle groups, incorporating an active warm-up, chair and standing work, stretching, and strengthening to promote flexible joints, stronger muscles, and healthier backs. The class also includes balance work, flexibility training, and upper and lower body strength work. Be prepared for the challenge!

There will be two options: a Zoom class on Monday and Friday, which is open to all, or an in-person class in the MPA Clubhouse on Tuesday. The in-person class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents, and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests.

Required equipment: weights, band, and ball. You will get details when you attend the class.

Zoom class – Monday and Friday from 8:00 to 8:45 am
Tuesday from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm – Classes will begin in the Fall.

Description

Come and join us for Water Aerobics every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 am. Our class offers multiple benefits for all types of people at any fitness level. The class focuses on cardiovascular, Zumba, strength building, and balancing skills. The best part is that you don’t even need to know how to swim! 

Required equipment: a bathing suit and water weights. Before buying the water weights, please come to a trial class to see if you like it first. 

The class is open to all fully vaccinated Mill Pond Acres residents, and residents may bring fully vaccinated guests…the more the merrier!
